1.   Where can I obtain Entrance Test forms ?
      The entrance test forms are made available at the admission office of the respective institution. 
      These forms can be purchased during the days advertised by the institution. e.g. KMC or UET.

2.   When will be the prospectus made available ?
     
The prospectus will be made available to the candidates by the respective institutions with a gap of
      at least one month before the test date.

3.   When will be the merit list displayed ?
     
Please ask the concerned institution about all the admission related information. ETEA only
      prepares the results of Entrance Tests and hands them over to the institution concerned.

4.   What is my position on the merit list ?
     
ETEA only prepares the test scores and hands them to the institution concerned. Information about
      merit list can be obtained from the institution concerned.

5.   How many chances do I have to appear in the test ?
     
From 2005 there is no limit for appearing in entrance tests.

6.   Where are the questions made from ?
  
   MCQs are made from the F.Sc. course.

7.   Which course should I study ?
     
F.Sc. course prescribed by the NWFP Text Book Board.

8.   What subjects constitute the test paper ?
     
Medical         : Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English.
      Engineering : Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English.

9.   How should I prepare for the test ?
     
The best way to prepare for the test is to study every chapter of the course and practicing as many
      MCQs as possible relevant to that chapter. 

10. Can I have some old test papers ?
     
 Old Test Papers are not available, however, model question paper is available in the Preetest Book.

11. How many MCQs in the question paper ?
      The total number of MCQs is 200 in case of Medical and Engineering Entrance Test.
      The subjects are as follows: -
      Medical         : Biology 60, Physics 60, Chemistry 60, English 20
      Engineering : Mathematics 60, Physics 60, Chemistry 60, English 20

12. How is my score calculated ?
     
For every correct answer student gets +4. For every wrong answer you get -1. For un-attempted  
      questions you don't get anything.
      For example : If a student answers 140 correct MCQs and 43 wrong,  he gets 560 - 43 = 517.


13. Can I apply for re-checking ?
     
Students can apply for Re-totaling only. Re-totaling Application forms are made available by ETEA
      during the dates designated for applying. Normally these dates are after one week of the test.
